1. If you or a loved one snores and has been known to stop breathing while sleeping you should consider asking your healthcare provider if you may benefit from a sleep evaluation.
  2. If you are male and have a neck circumference greater than or equal to 17 inches or if you are female and have a neck circumference greater than or equal to 15 1/2 inches you are at high risk for Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA).
  3. If you score a 10 or higher on the Epworth Sleepiness Scale (ESS) you are suffering from excessive daytime sleepiness and should discuss a possible sleep evaluation with your healthcare provider.
